A FALLEN ANGEL COMES OUT ON TOP

Kyle Brandon grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has one gay brother and two sisters. He attended a technical high school, majoring in Commercial Art. After high school, he joined the Air Force, trained in Texas and Mississippi, then worked as base photographer in Atwater California. That's where he met his wife.

Following five years of military service, Kyle became a TRUE, kink porn star (Fallen Angel, among others), earned the 1996 title of International Mr Drummer, became part owner of the Lure bar in New York, and ran a live web cam business. During this time, he made a number of moves, back and forth, across the country.

Determined to overcome a crystal meth habit, he made a final move back to the east coast in 2000. With the help of a friend, he got sober, earned a certificate in web design and a degree in graphic design, and has started a successful home photography business.

Kyle is happy, healthy, and enjoys spending time with his dog. Thank goodness for man's best friend.

Tom Orr Feels a Thong Coming On

Since 1997, award-winning San Francisco lyricist - playwright - singer - dancer - actor - comedian - director and "musical comedy cabaret porn star" Tom Orr (photo, right, by Duane Cramer) has been entertaining Bay Area audiences with his smart, satirical parodies, i.e. Dirty Little Showtunes!, his critically-acclaimed, crowd-pleasing cult hit revue that has enjoyed successful productions in San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Houston & the 2006 Minneapolis Fringe Festival, won a Bay Area Theatre Critics award and was called “perhaps the gayest show ever!” (Bay Area Reporter).

Variously called "the Lenny Bruce of musical parody" and "the love child of Al Parker and Dorothy Parker," Orr is well-known for baring all (or nearly all) in his bawdy burlesque turns in Dirty Little Showtunes!, Howard Crabtree's Whoop-Dee-Doo!; his previous solo acts, Sweet Parody! and Of Me I Sing, Baby!; as "The Perky Little Porn Star" in Naked Boys Singing! (2000 San Francisco and 2001 Provincetown casts); as well as for quirky quick-change character work in G-rated fare such as The Fantasticks, Mack & Mabel, Li'l Abner, One Touch of Venus, Pardon My English, Plain & Fancy, Shopping! The Musical, Simply Sondheim: A 75th Birthday Salute, Trog! and Coco, opposite Andrea Marcovicci, who lovingly dubbed Orr a “scene-stealing whore.” He also made a splash in the infamous shower scenes of the 2007 summer hit Take Me Out at NCTC.

As a relative newcomer to the adult film industry, known as Tom Lazzari, he was nominated for a 2006 GayVN Award, the industry's "Oscar," for his scene in TitanMedia's "Closed Set: Titan Stage One."

Successfully conquering an unfortunate crystal meth addiction three years ago, Orr/Lazzari has become an outspoken advocate in the fight against speed use in the gay community, writing songs about his recovery and contributing his time and talents to a variety of outreach campaigns, including the Stonewall Project and Tweaker.org's "Hot Sex Without Crystal? Hell Yeah!" and Better World Advertising's "Resist Meth" sites.

Now, with dozens of dirty little ditties in his risqué repertoire, Orr has reunited with his original Dirty Little Showtunes! collaborators, director F. Allen Sawyer and musical director Scrumbly Koldewyn, to build a new cabaret show, I Feel A Thong Coming On!, made up of his filthiest, funniest, raunchiest and bawdiest Broadway parodies, with provocative lyrics set to familiar melodies from such shows as Aida, The Producers, Annie, Oklahoma!, Hello, Dolly!, Gypsy, Funny Girl, Hairspray, The Music Man, My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Babes in Arms, The Wizard of Oz, Disney & more, all with a XXX twist! With biting wit and sharp social commentary on everything from celebrity culture to gay marriage to prurient takes on sex, politics, leather, drag and porn, I Feel A Thong Coming On! will amuse and arouse for four weeks in August & September to conclude New Conservatory Theatre Center’s 2008 Summer Cabaret Series.

Double Feature! David Teal and My Partner, Ken

Feature 1: David Teal

Hot Older Male. David Teal, was raised in Southern California, the youngest of 4 children and a "band nerd" from 4th grade through 2 years of college. He decided to try singing, and hasn't stopped since.

Married 11 years, he produced the three "miracles" that are his children, now ages 24, 26 & 28, and a constant source of joy and occasional frustration. (No grandchildren....YET.)

David came out in 1988 and moved to Seattle. Soon after, he met his first partner (20 years his senior), and settled down to a wonderful 4 1/2 year relationship. His partner passed away in 1994 (AIDS-related - he was HIV+ when they met), and he met his current husband about a year later at a social nudist group event in Seattle. Fifteen years late, they are happily together. They were married in Canada 5 years ago.

Feature 2: Ken (my partner and soon-to-be spouse)

From his unflavored (not even vanilla) suburban Long Island experiences as a teenager to working for The Saint, the largest private gay nightclub in the world, Ken lived the spectrum of gay life from New York suburbs to Manhattan’s nightlife and underground clubs in the 1980s. With all these venues available, an unhealthy combo of negative self image and an entirely repressed foot fetish left him thoroughly sexually unsatisfied.

Since moving to Palm Springs in 2002, Ken has been “coming out” about his foot fetish, to the point where he now feels that this fetish is practically Vanilla. After meeting his soon-to-be Partner Robert Black in 2003, it became unimaginable to stay closeted regarding any sexual taste or behavior.

Ken now finds that a large number of guys he chats with on various online sites have secret longings to worship feet, and many more enjoy having a guy play with, worship, and/or get off on, their feet. By finally speaking up and coming out, Ken has found that he’s not such a bad looking guy after all, and that the world is, so to speak, at his feet.

David A Morgan, Chaps Bar San Francisco

Since moving back home to San Francisco in 2005, David has become an active part of the SOMA (South of Market) leather scene.

David has worked with various leather organizations to help promote activities and events, and he founded MenInGear.com, a local, grass roots group encouraging men to get out, and meet up, face to face, in gear.

After the success of MeninGear, he realized there was a need for a bar that catered to leather folk. Although David had a full time professional career, he's always enjoyed bartending, and began thinking about opening a leather, gear and kink bar.

At the end of 2007, David and his partner, Steven Abramson, began the challenging process of purchasing a bar on Folsom Street that was formerly home to the Ramrod (1968-1983) and My Place (1984-2004).

Opening April 4, 2008, the bar features no microphones, no cover, no fundraisers and no contests Friday through Sunday. The bar has hosted groups such as HotBoots and B&B Corps, and is featuring (or will soon feature) theme nights such as cowboys, skins & punks, sports gear, and bikers.

In Spring 2008, David founded the SOMA Bar & Business Guild with a focus to build existing business and start new businesses that will bring more foot traffic to SOMA. From Mr. S to the Lone Star, to Off Ramp Leathers to Truck, all businesses have committed to working together and promoting each other, and developing new event weekends to continually build business in the SOMA district.

Scott Daddy, Mr Philadelphia Leather 2008

Mr. Philadelphia Leather 2008 Scott Mallinger, who also goes by the name of Scott Daddy, is the former publisher and editor of the LGBT newsweekly, Au Courant. He began his involvement in the queer community with a column, “Coming Out Diary,” which chronicled the many stages and phases of his coming out process. He has written for local publications as well as national magazines such as “Advocate” and “Instinct,” on topics as wide-ranging as why gay men have unprotected sex to what goes on at penis vacuum pumping parties.

His wedding announcement in 1994 was the first same-sex announcement to be run in the Philadelphia Inquirer. After 10 years of marriage, this self-identified leather Daddy expanded the relationship with his husband into a triad with the inclusion of a fulltime leather ‘boy,’ eryc.

For the past two years, he's been continuing his writing tradition with Leather Bound, a series of articles about his personal experiences in the leather community, exploring leather identity and roles, techniques and protocols, and personal growth within the context of the leather experience. The Leather Bound podcast was selected by itunes as one of the "new and notable" casts in recent months.

Affectionately referred to as a GDI (goddamned independent) by leather clubs, Scott enjoys participating in educational and fundraising community events such as the Kinky Karnival, where he performs violet wand demonstrations on neophytes and veterans alike. And, yes, he does have a hard spot for veterans.
